Paolo Bottaro and Alberto Romero are the creators of a dream, a reason and history of the Bar Monalisa.
Paolo Bottaro WAS born in the Italian city of Padova. At an early age discovered his vocation for the arts and through self instinct starts in music and design. Motivated by his concern, decided to undertake a journey through the world in search of answers to their curiosity and desire for knowledge. Their nomadic soul for years to bring him to learn exotic and cosmopolitan as the Caribbean, New York or the deserts of the Middle East, where new techniques and knowledge acquired. With a broader vision of the world, returning to his country was established in the city of Milan where he successfully and for over ten years of innately merged with the world of high fashion.
Alberto Romero in turn was born in Havana. The first years of his childhood was deeply influenced by the antiques and the Cuban colonial architecture, not in vain countless treasures of the past remains important cultural arts. It was precisely in his teens and during a tourist trip when he falls in love art and customs of Italian and decides to leave his beloved Cuba and move to Italy. It is there for sixteen years establishing `professionally in the city of Milan. As a lover of good taste soon becomes involved in the world hopelessly high fashion and that will provide them as responsible for the most exclusive boutiques of the world famous Via Montenapoleone. The passion for art, antiques and high fashion of course led him to establish a lasting friendship with Paolo and after several trips around the world come together to Ibiza in March 2009. It is enough for a weeklong vacation in love with the island, her people and light Mediterranean with its fiery sunsets.
